WE DID IT! And yet we're still doing it...

Yeah, we didn't read the fine print, so - at time of publishing - our Seedrs crowdfunding campaign hasn't closed. It will though, and soon.

As well as bemoaning their lack of appreciation for the fine details, in this episode Moose & Dews also discuss the various elements that make up Primordial Radio, and how we can move them forward, including merch, the soup van and the sound of the radio station. There's also BIG NEWS on the launch of Primordial SĆ¼p!

Jul 6, 2017

You know how sometimes you plan a thing out, then something unexpected happens at the last minute that throws everything you've planned out the window? That's kinda what's happened with this weeks' podcast.

This week was going to be a last minute push from Moose & Dewsbury to try and hit our crowdfunding goal, with reasoned arguments to support why you should get involved, along with an appeal to those with a more emotional side.

Then we hit our target 30 minutes before we were due to record the podcast.

Ah.

Welcome to the most hastily cobbled together Primordial podcast yet! And that's saying something.

In this episode, Moose & Dews look to the future; now we've achieved our crowdfunding goal, what are we going to do with it?

Jun 29, 2017

With less than two weeks to go on their Seedrs crowdfunding bid, the clock is ticking for our intrepid heroes.

This week on the podcast, Moose & Dewsbury team up to bring you the latest update on Seedrs and the brewing of their beer; Primordial SĆ¼p. They also round-up the feedback from last weeks' Primordial Pub Quiz 2, and reveal their plans for a snap pub quiz! NEXT WEEK! Pub Quiz 3 is a thing!

Finally, it's audience question time, as M & D set about answering some of your questions, be they regarding the crowdfunding bid, the radio station or otherwise.

Slightly later than planned, Pete talks about the reasons why he is Primordial, why they're important to him and there's even a poem he's made (Bloody smart arse, trying to show the rest of us up!)

In the grand scheme of things a year isn't all that long, but it's amazing how things can change in that time. Exactly one year ago, our heroes were just about to be made redundant from their radio presenting jobs. Now however, with their Seedrs crowdfunding bid ongoing, and on the eve of their first live broadcast on Primordial Radio, Moose, Pete Bailey and Dewsbury look back on what has been a rollercoaster of a year.

Jun 8, 2017

You ever make a decision ahead of time, then when it comes to it, REALLY regret it? Moose & Dews certainly have, as neither of them is going to Download festival for the first time in years, and neither of them is particularly happy with their decision. This latest episode of the podcast is basically them complaining about it. They do however have some interesting thoughts on NEXT year...

They also have the latest updates on their seedrs.com crowdfunding campaign and a brewing date - AN ACTUAL DATE! - for the long-awaited Primordial SĆ¼p ale.

Jun 1, 2017

Following on from Moose last week, Dews decided to try and express exactly why HE is Primordial. *SPOILER* He's not very good at it.

May 25, 2017

This week finds Moose in a soul-baring mood, as he reflects on the events of the past week and how they have affected him. There's also an update on our postponed Primordial pub quiz.

May 18, 2017

It's been an incredible first nine days of our Seedrs.com crowdfunding campaign. In the podcast this week, Moose looks back at some of the highs & lows of the last week, and looks forward to what we can accomplish together. There's also contributions from the Primordial Family on what this means to them. S/O to Luke, Kate & Gary. Moose also brings you news of the upcoming second Primordial Radio Pub Quiz, as well as news of the label design competition for Primordial SĆ¼p (you didn't think we'd forget, right?). Best of all, our whole reason-for-being is beginning to take shape. PRIMORDIAL RADIO LIVES!

May 11, 2017

Moose is flying solo on the podcast this week, with the latest from our seedrs.com crowdfunding bid, as well as a plea to spread it as far and wide as you can. There's also news of the next Primordial Virtual Online Interactive Pub Quiz type thing, which really needs a snappier title than that...

May 4, 2017

In this weeks' episode of the podcast Moose, Pete and Dews, separately take some time to try and gather their thoughts and reflect on what Primordial Radio has already become - and where it could go from here - before the launch of their www.seedrs.com crowdfunding bid next week.

Apr 27, 2017

The clock is ticking in the latest episode of the Primordial Radio podcast, as the launch of their crowdfunding bid draws ever closer.

In this episode, Moose has the latest update on the beer label competition, as well as some important details for the upcoming Primordial pub quiz (that he's previously forgotten to mention, the tit).

He also chats with business consultant John Hamelink about some important financial restructuring, and John Heaney, the video maestro who has taken charge of the all-important promotional video for the crowdfunding bid on www.seedrs.com.

Apr 20, 2017

It's kinda like definitely maybe, only even more ambiguous. In this episode, the dynamic duo of Moose and Dewsbury start with a fairly solid agenda of talking points, before donning their backpacks and wooly socks, and heading off for a ramble through the conversational countryside. There's the latest news on the Primordial pub quiz, an update on the upcoming funding bid which kicks off on May 8th, and the details of how to enter our competition to design the label of our Primordial SĆ¼p beer.

Apr 13, 2017

It's a veritable ideas-bonanza on the podcast this week! Moose presents a whole bunch of ideas for the short-to-mid-term-future of Primordial Radio, including our forthcoming merch shop (with extremely cool Bluetooth speakers!), the Primordial pub quiz, and even a soup wagon. I kid ye not. To that end, in this episode Moose speaks to Brian Baglow from Jukebox Labs about our online pub quiz idea, and to the guys from Pig & Porter brewery - who are going to be brewing our Primordial SĀĆ¼p - about your chance to design the label and bag yourself some free beer. See, it wasn't just a click bait episode title...

Apr 6, 2017

In this latest episode, our distinctly bleary-eyed trio of Dewsbury, Moose & Pete Bailey look back over the last week on the Long Road to Brewin'. They're sober as well, which makes a nice change.

Mar 30, 2017

The Long Road to Brewin' is underway, with Moose, Pete and Dewsbury heading off around the country. Following the first night in London, Moose and Dews shook the hangovers off and got together in studio 1 to discuss the previous night and their hopes for the week ahead. The podcast this week also features an old friend...

Mar 23, 2017

This week the podcast is all about the Long Road to Brewin'. After literally years of being told that they can't do it, Moose, Pete Bailey and Dewsbury are finally going to be heading out on their UK-wide road trip #LRTB. The sole aim is to meet as many Primordial fans as possible, have a natter, answer any questions, and sink a few beers.

In this episode, all three of the guys explain where they're going, what they're looking forward to, and what they're worried about.

This next week is going to be crazy #LRTB

Mar 16, 2017

In this latest episode, Moose explains The Plan. You can almost hear the Capital Letters. From staffing to revenue, via costs and marketing, he covers the lot. Be prepared for a massive dose of FACTS (not the alternative kind). His first guest this week is our funding advisor from www.seedrs.com, who has a name you probably won't believe. He knows his stuff though, and helps to illustrate why the upcoming Primordial Radio road trip - The Long Road To Brewin' - is so important. On that subject, this week Moose also speaks to our brewmaster Sean Ayling from Pig & Porter brewery, who will be developing our very own Primordial Sup ale.

Mar 10, 2017

This week the Primordial Radio podcast sees Moose talking tech. Given that he's out of his technological depth with a Speak & Spell, this should be amusing. Engineer Mark talks us through some of the technological aspects of broadcasting a radio station without a studio, before Moose speaks to Mark Bentley and Paul Johnson, who are developing our website and app respectively. There's also the latest (accurate) merch figures and news of a big announcement next week.

Mar 3, 2017

Moose is back on podcast duties this week with the latest update on how we're doing, what we're doing, and why we're doing it. There's exciting news on the official set-up of the company, and a chat with Matt Young to find out how we did with our first merch preorder (SPOILER: quite well). We also get to meet the latest addition to the team; John Hamelink, our new business consultant. We need someone who knows what they're doing to advise us... Oh, and a Yorkshire Yeti makes another appearance as well.
