It's finally here! After trying to sort this for over a year with one false start (the less said about that the better...) the guys finally got together for a few beers and to play the most reluctant game of Cards Against Humanity of all time. Pete doesn't play board games and Moose has the attention span of a kitten, so there's that...
This will probably be the most offensive podcast in Primordial Radio's history, so if you are easily offended PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO IT!
In and around the card game the guys get talking about all sorts, from ideal pizza sponsorship, how to get verifed on Instagram, taking a day trip to South Korea and the vagries of the Manchester public transport system. Riveting stuff.
The world's only heavy metal marine biologist The Blowfish is back with another episode of The Sea Word Podcast! This time it's a special one, where he answers some searching questions about some amazing animals.

This week our heroes talk through a whole bunch of subjects, including the current membership update, with particular attention on the rate of attrition. This leads to some humbling words from Dews.
Then they look ahead to the possibilities for next few months, including the Boxing Day merch sale, Burns night, Primordial tartan and The Long Road To Brewin' 2019!
Finally this week, there's a precursor to the Cards Against Humanity special podcast coming next week. The guys tried to record this last year; and attempt that led to the only cross words Moose and Dews have exchanged in 10 years. The lost audio has resurfaced and is contained herein. Ouch.
This week finds our heroes back in their respective studios after a riotous few days of hanging out together, and possibly with you! The guys start off looking back at the last week or so, which has featured podcasts, events, trucks, computers and more than a couple of responsible beers.
They then move on to the business stuff, including membership, money and early plans for next year. The final topic for the podcast is the "first-of-its-kind" live-streamed pub quiz that's happening soon, that apparently will be TOTALLY different to the actual* first-of-its-kind live-streamed pub quiz that Primordial has been doing for around 18 months. Ahem.
*as far as we can tell, and we've really looked, honest!
Spectacular isn't the word. No really, it isn't.
Moose and Dews decided to celebrate the 100th Primordial Radio podcast by going to the pub. Oh God. Gods. Whatever.
Not gonna lie. I'm publishing this podcast at 03:00, and I'm quite drunk. There's probably something interesting in here. Tell me what blue smells like.
I think we talked about perfume adverts containing J-Law and a sweaty Keira Knightly. That's as close as we get to clickbait. You won't believe number 7 #GFY
Everyone's favourite seasonal podcast is back for the third edition in nine months! This... er... season... we talk about Moose & JRock's Christmas House Party, and delve into the meaning of life in the Five Minute Topic. It's a joy to behold, so why not waste 40 minutes of your life now and hit play!

Look at the time! It's POSI-VIBES O' CLOCK!
But seriously, Moose and Dews are in a good mood this week. After what has felt like a bit of a lull for the last few weeks, the Primordial world keeps spinning, but in a generally positive direction.
There's all the usual updates on where we're at as a business, but they also get talking about their old friend Sophie K, and a particularly inspirational Twitter thread.
Also, TARTAN! No really, the official Primordial tartan is coming...
It's an odd one this week. Part counselling session, part pep-talk and part business meeting, with just a touch of chatting-in-the-pub. Moose and Dews marvel at the fact they've made it to 98 episodes, and spend some time pondering if they're actually having fun, before realising that's not the important question.
There's also the latest positive membership update (hint: things are going the right way), news of the impending merch drop and talk about the upcoming Primordial Inkquizition.
There's also a fascinating chat with Primordial's Mrs Barkel (Juls) who has a PHENOMENAL success rate with the Everybody Gets One campaign, where she reveals some of the secrets to her success.
So the podcast last week didn't quite go as planned, with an anti-climactic announcement that didn't actually happen. Then it did. Sigh.
Undaunted, Moose and Dews return this week with the ACTUAL announcment of the opening band for the Primordial Radio AGM 2019. It's really rather good.
They also talk about about the all-important membership figures, the changing landscape of the music industry and the importance of remembering to ask for help. Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it...
It's a big announcement week for the podcast! Or at least it might be...
Thing is, at the time of recording, the guys were hoping to announce the main support act for the AGM next April, however they hadn't yet heard from the artist in question's management, as to whether it was cool to announce yet. They did it anyway, but had to make two different edits of the podcast; one with the announcement bleeped out, and one not. At the time of writing this podcast blurb, WE DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE IT IS! Exciting stuff, right?
Aside from that announcement (which may or may not happen) Moose and Dews have a catch-up while discussing their recent trip to Newcastle, the upcoming Primordial Inkquizition, and the strange bond between a boy and his couch.
A couple of podcasts ago Moose mentioned he had a couple of crazy ideas that needed a little more thought before he went public with them. He's now put that thought in, so he and Pete get to discussing them this week. One of them is reeeeeaaaaally crazy.
There's also the latest update on where Primordial Radio is as a business, and what we need to do going forward.
Probably because they knew Dews was editing this podcast, it's also the longest one they've ever done.
This week on the podcast Moose and Pete have a catch-up, Pete talks about how he once thought about being a carpenter (can you imagine?) and Moose talks about how we as Primordial Radio are growing up... I don't wanna! I don't wanna!
But growing is what we have to do, so there's chat about the importance of data, an update on the development of the app, membership numbers and ideas about how we can get more people to try the free trial.

This week finds Moose in a thoughtful mood, with more questions than answers. Unsurprisingly, Dewsbury is no use at all, but together they find a way forward.
There's the usual catch-up, as well as a discussion on recent tech issues and a run-down of what is going to be hitting the Primordial merch store in the near future.
There is also the Worst. Marketing. Idea. Ever.
There's also two crazy ideas that will save for another time. COMING SOON to an additional podcast!
Moose and Dews have a lot of laughs this week discussing Limahl, the Engineer Mark inaction figure, and one of the worst things you could say on a date.
There's a whole bunch of other stuff to talk about as well, from the AGM announcement, the birthday beers, cancelled trains, and Dewsbury's continued failure to give use Instagram properly.
The guys also look forward to A Very Primordial Halloween, and bring news of the next Primordial Pub Quiz.
In this episode Moose and Dews start off by discussing Moose's theory of life (which involves waaaaay more fecal matter than you'd imagine) before getting on to discussing why salmon with beards would likely be an evolutionary dead end. Riveting stuff. They also completely forget to hook and tease the ACTUAL tease (which possibly concerns the 2019 AGM) which is at the end of the podcast.
Eventually they get on to business matters, with possibly the most crucial membership update in Primordial Radio's history. Following on from EP90, they examine the initial results, and talk about why the next few weeks are so important.
They also look forward to this upcoming weekend's Birthday Beers in Brum and discuss the upcoming merch drop, before getting really, excessively, bigly cryptic about an upcoming announcement.
It's crunch-time yet again for Primordial Radio, as we're coming up on a year since launch, when the vast majority of our investors took their free year of membership. The number of people who choose to remain as members of Primordial Radio will decide what happens next.
Before they get to that though, Moose and Dews reflect on the Big Bang 2, and look forward to our Birthday Beers in Brum on Oct 6th, and A Very Primordial Halloween in Newcastle on Nov 3rd. We also discover exactly how Moose's stand-up career ended. SPOILER: Not well.
Then comes the ever-present membership update, where things are looking good. There's numbers galore, and a detailed discussion on conversion rates! But don't let that put you off. Then comes the slow, dawning realisation - particularly for Dewsbury - that once again, it's time to fly or die.
In this special bonus episode of the podcast, Moose, Pete and Shorty attempt to record some quality content, while Dewsbury does his finest village idiot impression. There have been calls to release the unedited audio of this recording, but trust me, it's better this way. The rest of it was just a drunk Yorkshireman rambling on. And on. And on.
Let's face it, recording a podcast live, in front of an audience, after a day spent at the bar at one of our events is only ever going to go one way...
This week finds our heroes at a bit of a loss. Having had a few busy weeks with plenty to talk about in the podcast, this week there's still a bunch of stuff ticking over in the background, but sales leads and direct debit payment systems are a fairly dry subject.
Undaunted, our heroes dive head first into the latest membership update, and reveal a brilliant/awful/embarrasing* idea for the upcoming Big Bang 2! They also get talking about the latest Bloodstock announcement, which leads on to an ACTUAL conversation about music! On this podcast?! Good Lord!
Along the way they cover tree-shredding, alloy wheels, the worst gig ever, and pose the question "Why do bats hate Moose's box?"
*delete as applicable
This episode of the podcast finds our heroes in good spirits, despite one of them being in need of a good weeks' worth of sleep. Moose and Dews have plenty to go at, so waste no time in talking about dogs being banned from a certain pub chain. Seriously, you'd think after 86 previous episodes they'd just get on with it by now...
Once they actually get down to business, there's the latest membership update, and a discussion about the membership journey, from first hearing about Primordial Radio to becoming a full member. There's also news about actual listening hours, including a surprising detail that prompts a rethink of the way certain things are done.
There's also news of an upcoming station refresh, a new addition to the team, forthcoming new merch and the first teaser of next year's AGM!
No seriously. Bec is drying her hair in the background. You can't get the staff these days...
There's BIG NEWS in the podcast this week. Remember that thing that they couldn't talk about a few weeks back? Now they can, although in true radio style they leave it until the end. Before that, there's talk of friends, pipe dreams and news, as well as the latest membership update and the details behind the new merch store.
Dews also compares Primordial Radio to a Japanese Spider Crab. It's weird but it kinda works.
Following on from part 1 of this podcast, the guys have put 50p in the metaphorical podcast-o-meter, so they can now get down to business.
This time round Moose and Dews discuss the upcoming Big Bang 2, and the effect that ticket sales could have on next years' AGM in April. They also talk about marketing and the latest membership figures, before getting onto the issue of mentoring.
In addition there's a guest appearance from Betsy the dog, and a wholly unwelcome appearance from Max the cat.
Plus there's a surprise delivery that really illustrates what Primordial is all about.
So here's the thing, with Bloodstock and a whole bunch of specials, we're running out of storage space for the month with our podcast hosting company. It'll renew on Sept 1st, but that meant this week's podcast had to be under 30 mins. Knowing Moose and Dews that just wouldn't happen, so if you're after the latest on the business side of Primordial Radio, we'll be publishing the second part of this podcast on Saturday (Sept 1st).
In the meanwhile this podcast sees Moose and Dews getting into a fairly serious conversation about some stories that have recently been in the news.
In this episode of the podcast Moose tells us about his recent holiday. DO. NOT. LISTEN. IF. YOU. ARE. EMOTIONALLY. DELICATE.
Seriously. This is your last warning.
Following on from the harrowing tale of Moose's holiday, he and Pete get talking about some of the basics of Primordial Radio, including our approach to adverts/ad-breaks (and the fundamental difference between the two) and "The Rules". Sadly, this conversation includes the phrase "laser-focus that goal". We're sorry about that. Look, Moose has had to attend a lot of meeting in his time. You can't blame him for picking this stuff up...
(EDITOR'S NOTE: FYI @ 52 mins my answer would have been "World Domination". Just sayin'... /D)
Moose is still away in Canadia so while we look forward to the Flight of Dickarus next week, Pete & Dews hold the fort with a surprisingly posivibes attitude, considering this is the eighth (EIGHTH!) podcast they've published this week.
They take a little look back at Bloodstock 2018, but then get down to business with talk of what this means for Primordial Radio and the effect it has had on the number of subscribers/free triallers. *SPOILER 1* It's pretty good news.
They also have news of a recent Primordial investor questionnaire that was sent out. *SPOILER 2* It's also pretty good news.
