T/W: The podcast this week contains some heavy themes, including grief, depression and anxiety.

It's a special podcast this week, as Moose and Dews forgo the usual business update, and instead Moose speaks with an old friend, and the most-often-heard voice on Primordial Radio; Bill Courage.

They discuss life, death, grief and belief with heartbreaking honesty, as Bill talks about his family, and the tragic loss of his son.

The latest podcast from Primordial Radio started out as an on-air feature between Moose and The Blowfish that rapidly became more than just a 5-minute chat.

The idea is that in each episode of the podcast, Moose and the world's ONLY heavy metal marine biologist talk about small changes that we can all make to our lives that can make a big difference to the environment. As expected though, the conversation drifts across many environment-related topics, and some non-environment-related ones as well.

This week the guys discuss population control and other taboos on their newly-discovered planet Dave, and how that thinking could be applied to the planet we already have.

If you're going to make your podcast title a pop-culture reference, what could be more socially or culturally relevant than OMC's 1996 hit "How Bizarre"?

This week Moose and Dews catch-up once again to chat and discuss the latest goings-on, with the latest membership update and a possible rethink, the latest news on the upcoming Burns Supper, news of Primordial Studio 7 and the actual worst sales pitch for an advent calendar that you've ever heard. There's also the introduction of Richard Hanson aka. Ideas Man, who is hopefully going to be keeping the ideas coming.

Blowfish also makes his second appearance with "Small Change" a feature that will be moving up in the world soon.

The guys catch up about Dews' adventures in puppy parenting (SPOILER: LOTS of poo), answer a PRFam question, and talk about the importance of S.W.O.T. before Blowfish appears to give his judgement on the Rage Against The Machine reunion, stupid people in aquariums, and playing chess with a pigeon.

Oct 24, 2019

Moose is away this week, so instead of the usual podcast Dews decided to take the opportunity - while he was in the country - to have a catch-up with friend-of-the-station, content creator extraordinaire, and owner of the MCU (Mobile Content Unit aka. van) Full Metal Hackett.

The European leg of Hackett's pub crawl has come to an end, so they discuss his travels so far, including Norwegian church-burning, Latvian papier-machΓ© islands, and Romanian castle-based lies.

They also look ahead to the next legs of his journey, which may or may not involve cat-sitting and an extended stay in Columbia.

Along the way they ask - and answer - many questions. One of the most profound though, would have to be "Who would want a death metal Genesis tribute band at a wedding?"

Moose and Dews return with the latest news from the world of Primordial Radio, starting with a small amount of surprise that they've made it to episode 145! This leads to lessons in business that they've learned, often the hard way.

One of the main questions this week is "who is Primordial Radio aimed at?". This leads to the plan for the next few months, which can be summed up by the episode title. 2020 is shaping up to be a mega busy year, so now is the time to get those ducks in a row.

There's also a look back at Primordial Presents Live this past weekend, with a look ahead to the newly announced Primordial Presents Live in January. Details here https://primordialradio.com/primordialpresentslive/
