Dr. Cornelius Porridge is an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, sealed in a jar labelled "WTF?!" Part time-traveller, part-badger, part steampunk stand-up. In these troubled times he has kindly agreed to keep us updated daily on the plague situation in his native Lincolnshire. This plaguecast is the collection of those daily dispatches. Kind of like an Eastenders omnibus, only with more innuendo.
This week sees Dr. Porridge dealing with a school overrun with plague. Any similarity to any persons living, dead or imaginary (especially if their name is Lt. E Ripley) is entirely coincidental.
Caution advised: The following broadcast may not be suitable for those possessed of a nervous disposition, or indeed good taste.

The UK's lockdown situation continues, but that makes no difference to the Primordial Radio podcast. Moose and Dews catch up this week, with a lot of talk about the importance of language, be it positive or negative. They also spend some time attempting - and failing - to find a synonym for "belong".
They also discuss the continuing Sub-A-Sub initiative, and the Self-Isolation Inkquizition, while Dews narrowly avoids peeing on the dog.

The idea is that in each episode of the podcast, Moose and the world's ONLY heavy metal marine biologist talk about small changes that we can all make to our lives that can make a big difference to the environment. As expected though, the conversation drifts across many environment-related topics, and some non-environment-related ones as well.
This week the guys cover the latest from Planet Dave, including pets, and why it may be necessary to blow them up. They also look at environmental news, including coral bleaching and coronavirus.

It's an odd week all-round. Moose and family are going into self-isolation as mini-Moose has a cough, while Dewsbury is having a mental health spiral due to ALL. THE. SOCIAL. MEDIA.
Thankfully, they manage to even each other out, and discuss what's important for Primordial Radio right now; being there for the community and the importance of doing the right thing, even when the right thing is the most difficult.

In the latest episode of the Binge Thinking podcast Dewsbury chats with My Dying Bride frontman Aaron Stainthorpe. They cover a range of subjects, including the last few years of hell for Aaron and his family with his daughter's illness, and how this has informed the latest album from My Dying Bride less than you'd think. They also discuss the more accessible sound of MDB in 2020, and why you don't necessarily need to play a riff 5-and-a-half times when four will do.

Moose and Dews catch up this week and - given current world events - there's a lot of wait-and-see going on. Many of Primordial Radio's activities for the next few months currently have a question mark hanging over them, so the guys talk about potential plans and courses of action, the main one being "keep calm and carry on."
They also reveal themselves to be self-isolation hipsters. They've been doing it for years.

There's a lot of talk of values this week. The guys have recently filled out surveys and attended a business analysis session designed to reveal what values (mental well-being, empathy, education etc... there's a ton of them) they personally aspire to, and how those values inform the overall company values of Primordial Radio. It's usually the sort of thing company directors do when they set up a company. Oops.
Moose and Dews spend the majority of the podcast this week discussing those values, and what they mean for Primordial Radio.

Moose and Dews together in one studio, with a beer each. It was never going to be a short podcast.
This week the guys are actually together to reveal - and speak to -the occupants of the brand new Primordial Radio studios 8, 9 and 10! They also reveal which ONE member of the PRFam managed to correctly guess all three, and has won a case of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
There's also the latest from Full Metal Hackett on the road in South America, and a serious chat about the Primordial-specific implications of the current coronavirus outbreak.

We’ve all got it. Good, bad, somewhere in between… just like our physical health there’s no getting away from our mental health.
At Primordial Radio we believe in action, not just words. We think it’s important to open the conversation about mental health but we’re also always asking ourselves “what can we do to help?”
This podcast aims to open that conversation further by featuring thought provoking conversations with bands/artists, professionals from the world of mental health and you, the PRFam.
We’ll also look into some basic but hopefully helpful hints and tips for mental health wellbeing along the way.
In this episode, Shorty chats with Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup. Known as the funny frontman of a ‘fart joke band’, in more recent years Jaret has opened up about his mental health struggles to help illustrate that it’s ok to not be ok and that, importantly, it can affect anyone!
Theme tune ‘Fuck You Brain’ used with the kind permission of Ginger Wildheart and Ryan Hamilton.
Loads to discuss this week including the impending addition of studios 8, 9 and 10, as well as a couple of guests, so of course Moose and Dews start out the podcast with a Studio 2 Slug update! It's all important stuff, right?
There's the latest on the AGM2020 before the guys get caught up reflecting on just how incredibly lucky they are, and on how incredibly hard they need to work to stay that lucky!
Primordial Dad aka. Paul Marshall nips into the studio with an update on the Inkubus, and Dews catches up with Full Metal Hackett on his Follow The Yellow Van world trip.

From the other end of the musical spectrum, he also chats with musician/comedian Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq. about what it's like to go viral in the 21st century, and the difficulties that go with it.
