Moose and Dews have a couple of guests this week, but first Dews reveals that he has a snail trail problem, which means he may need to get the builders in. Sounds drastic, but he's got a point.

He and Moose then discuss the importance of research, and staying true to your ideals, before discussing the importance of ignoring research and modifying your ideals. Confused? You will be.

Ideas man Richard Hanson chats with Moose about the lifeblood of Primordial Radio, and Dews chats to Full Metal Hackett who continues his epic, globe-spanning pub crawl, which is now in Peru.

The idea is that in each episode of the podcast, Moose and the world's ONLY heavy metal marine biologist talk about small changes that we can all make to our lives that can make a big difference to the environment. As expected though, the conversation drifts across many environment-related topics, and some non-environment-related ones as well.

This week the conversation is all over the place, covering Harry Potter canapés, evolution, wolf-pack social dynamics, carbon-offsetting and Moose's bionic heart. It's a trip tbh!

Dews has a chat with the PRFam's own Vikki Colden, as she launches her own business with a slightly Primordial spirit, and there's also the latest on merch, the AGM and LRTB 4.

We’ve all got it. Good, bad, somewhere in between… just like our physical health there’s no getting away from our mental health.

At Primordial Radio we believe in action, not just words. We think it’s important to open the conversation about mental health but we’re also always asking ourselves “what can we do to help?”

This podcast aims to open that conversation further by featuring thought provoking conversations with bands/artists, professionals from the world of mental health and you, the PRFam.

We’ll also look into some basic but hopefully helpful hints and tips for mental health wellbeing along the way.

In the long awaited episode 1, join Shorty and Dani Winter-Bates (Bury Tomorrow) as they talk all things mental health including Dani’s work for the NHS, being a positive change agent and why he set up ‘Safe Space’ sessions around the band’s latest UK tour.

Theme tune ‘Fuck You Brain’ used with the kind permission of Ginger Wildheart and Ryan Hamilton.

The latest podcast from Primordial Radio started out as an on-air feature between Moose and The Blowfish that rapidly became more than just a 5-minute chat.

The idea is that in each episode of the podcast, Moose and the world's ONLY heavy metal marine biologist talk about small changes that we can all make to our lives that can make a big difference to the environment. As expected though, the conversation drifts across many environment-related topics, and some non-environment-related ones as well.

This week the guys stake their claim to TOI 700 (a newly-discovered Earth-like exoplanet) and rebrand Planet Dave. There’s much to discuss about planetary policies and this week they tackle the energy policy. There's also Blowfish’s view on the Australian wildfires, and the one small change we can make to our life that will make a big impact.

T/W: The podcast this week contains some heavy themes, including grief, depression and anxiety.

It's a special podcast this week, as Moose and Dews forgo the usual business update, and instead Moose speaks with an old friend, and the most-often-heard voice on Primordial Radio; Bill Courage.

They discuss life, death, grief and belief with heartbreaking honesty, as Bill talks about his family, and the tragic loss of his son.
