Dews returns to the podcast this week, fully rested and refreshed after his week away. So much so in fact, that he’s ready to get straight back to work, as DAMN that was an expensive week away! Eventually (around 34 mins in!) the guys get to talking about the upcoming Download Festival 2026 launch event (that Dewsbury may or may not be attending) which leads to the question of the festival formula. In Dews’ opinion, Download hit upon a winning format this year with a new, potentially controversial headliner sandwiched between two more established acts, but acts that themselves were also first-time headliners. This seemed to work really well, which leads to Dews favourite topic of DL line-up speculation. LinkinParkwayBizkit anyone?
