Once again Moose and Dews catch up from their respective studios to discuss the latest in the world Primordial Radio including coffee and Rocky & Bullwinkle, along with technical issues aplenty.

They also talk about mental health, the next quiz, the importance of the entire team behind Primordial Radio, and what's coming up business-wise in the next couple of weeks.

Episode 26 of The FAMily Album podcast is now live featuring PRFam member Suzy Hughes chatting with Dewsbury about one of her favourite albums; The Smashing Pumpkins 1993 classic "Siamese Dream."

Formed from the daily despatches of one Dr. Porridge, this plaguecast is the collection of this weeks adventures. Like Eastenders only with slightly less cockneys and higher production values

Dr Porridge has become lost in a version of earth; a far distant, future post apocalyptic wasteland. Together with Colon, his cybernetic badger accomplice, Porridge is on a quest to seek out Bob, the scourge of the wastes, and deliver unto him a letter. Their quest has led them across the wasteland, to a drinking establishment of ill-repute, known as the Turkey Twizzler. The good Doctor himself can fill in the blanks.

Moose and Dews catch up again this week, and as usual they start off by checking on each other with the latest  effects of the Coronacoaster. What a crazy year 2020 is turning into. They also talk about the ways Primordial Radio can help members of the PRFam, with subscription holidays and the Sub-A-Sub initiative.

Unusually though, the bulk of the podcast is taken up with actual business chat. Membership numbers, cost-of-acquisition and business behaviour is all discussed, including one striking example of what not-to-do.

Jun 24, 2020

Formed from the daily despatches of one Dr. Cornelius Porridge, this plaguecast is an omnibus of this weeks adventures. Strictly speaking, it's a belated collection of LAST week's adventures, which rather points to a lack of moral fibre in the production staff.

Dr Porridge has become lost in a version of earth. A far distant, future post apocalyptic wasteland, that if the news the news is anything to go by, we'll catch up to some time next week. Together with Colon, his cybernetic badger accomplice, Porridge is on a quest to seek out Bob, the scourge of the wastes and deliver unto him a letter. Their quest has led them across the wasteland, and we join our hero seated in a wretched hive of scum and villainy, known as the Turkey Twizzler.

Be warned though, the following adventures are not for the faint of heart, meek of spirit or indeed weak of bladder, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, vomiting and the strange urge to appear in musical theatre.

This week Moose and Dews catch up from their respective studios, and start off talking about (predictably) darts, the weather and (less predictably) acid flashbacks. They continue being slightly more serious and talk about how it's ok to not-be ok, especially right now. In a similar vein they also discuss the plans that Primordial Radio has made to help keep PRFam members connected through what is likely to be a rough next few months.

Dr. Cornelius Porridge is an enigma covered liberally with the sausage of mystery, glazed in the egg of absurdity and dipped into the breadcrumbs of the macabre. Part time-travelling scotch egg, part-badger, part steampunk stand-up. In these troubled times he has kindly agreed to keep us updated daily on his continuing quest to rid Lincolnshire of the plague.

When we last left him, Porridge was stuck in a far-off, post-apocalyptic future version of Earth, with nought but his wits and a small dog for company. We join him now as he attempts to find his way home, and cure the plague.

*Literally not a surprise

The video podcast is available via all the Primordial channels; Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/primordialradio

It's an emotionally-charged podcast this week, as Moose and Dews discuss the ongoing effects of the "emotional coronacoaster," impacted by both personal events and the wider political scene. This leads into a discussion of the recent "Blackout Tuesday" in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and what changes Primordial Radio can make to better support the community.

The idea is that in each episode of the podcast, Moose and the world's ONLY heavy metal marine biologist talk about small changes that we can all make to our lives that can make a big difference to the environment.

This week, Moose and Blowfish (Mish? Blowfoose?) discuss why you need to be mindful of your dog in eagle country, how nature has become more visible and presented opportunities during worldwide lockdown, and how keeping it wild in your garden is good  *Insert wild-lady-garden joke here*

Dr. Cornelius Porridge is an enigma covered liberally with the sausage of mystery, glazed in the egg of absurdity and dipped into the breadcrumbs of the macabre. Part time-travelling scotch egg, part-badger, part steampunk stand-up. In these troubled times he has kindly agreed to keep us updated daily on the plague situation in his native Lincolnshire. This plaguecast is the collection of those daily dispatches. Kind of like a Brookside omnibus, only with less Scousers.

Any similarity to any other franchises is entirely coincidental, especially when you think you're going Back To the Future, but accidentally end up in Oz looking for a wizard, with a delicious unicorn and a Dungeon Master on the run for historical sex crimes.
